Motion Components
High-performance linear systems engineered for precise, reliable motion in demanding environments — from industrial automation to medical technology.
The Mechanics of Power
A telescopic rail is three nested members in motion: an outer U-channel, an inner rail, and a ball cage of hardened steel balls running between them — engineered for millions of smooth, reliable cycles under load.
Precision under load. Cold-drawn and hardened U-channel and inner rail, hardened and polished balls and a precisely engineered cage — smooth, quiet and repeatable for the life of the slide.
Full extension under loads up to 1 200 kg per pair — reliable in heavy container logistics and automated storage.
Synchronized ball cages keep every section moving together, preventing jamming during high-speed automated cycles.
Electro-galvanized (zinc, blue-passivated) or stainless options for an extended lifecycle across harsh environments.
Macro captures of the actual VT-series geometry — ball cage, outer rail and mounting interface.
Hardened steel balls retained in a precision cage, rolling between the rails for smooth, low-friction travel.
Cold-drawn and hardened outer profile with CNC mounting holes and an integrated end stop, guiding the cage along its length.
Inner-rail end with precision mounting holes for repeatable, accurate fixing to your structure.
Our interactive selection tool analyzes your technical requirements to suggest the optimal telescopic configuration.
Total load the slides carry — per pair of telescopic rails, or per carriage for the VT-L linear guide.
Full cycles (extend and retract) the slides must reach. Above 250 000 cycles, ask our engineers.
Sets the static safety factor S₀ (1.5 / 2.0 / 3.0) and the service-life factor fᵢ from the catalogue tables.

Our scoring engine compares your inputs against the VT catalogue and surfaces the best-fit series, plus a match percentage and lifecycle estimate.
| Series | Type | Extension | Sizes | Peak C₀rad | Load basis | Material |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| VT-L | Linear ball guide | Linear | 22–63 | 122 kN | per carriage | CF53 · hardened raceways |
| VT-P | Telescopic, partial | ~50 % | 22–63 | 88.5 kN | per pair | CF53 · hardened raceways |
| VT-S | Full · S-profile | 100 % | 28–63 | 38 kN | per pair | CF53 · hardened raceways |
| VT-X | Full · I-beam | 100 % | 22–63 | 14.4 kN | per pair | CF53 · hardened raceways |
| VT-O | Full · square | 100 % | 22–43 | 2.7 kN | per pair | CF53 · hardened raceways |
| VT-H | Heavy-duty · configurable | ~100 % | 30–80 | on request † | per pair | CF53 · not hardened |
Load capacity shown is peak static C₀rad. Telescopic series are rated per pair of rails; the linear VT-L is per carriage. Partial-extension VT-P delivers the highest capacity — full-extension series trade capacity for 100 % access. † VT-H is specified by its execution & options (F/V/S, locks, damping, double-stroke, L/R) and heavy-duty I-beam build for minimal deflection — not ranked by peak C₀rad; contact engineering for a given configuration.
